Welcome to Spire Educational Consulting.
My time as a teacher, Principal and Juvenile Justice worker has highlighted the need to have consistent and calm practice in classrooms and schools. Calm practice provides the opportunity for happier students, greater engagment and more time for teachers to do what they got into teaching for. Clear understandings of current educational practice and research is important. My program aims to allow schools to provide school staff with a range of strategies that empower them to build purposeful and authentic relationships that reduce the impact of problematic classroom behaviour. These strategies are evidence informed, based on cognitive science and proven in the classroom and in a Juvenile Justice setting.
